I am a believer that foreign language instruction should not be limited to the confines of the classroom. At the Middlebury Russian school, I directed a weekly Russian radio show run by students, hosted Russian dance nights, sang with my students in Russian karaoke shows, helped them put together performances in and encouraged them to publish in a student newspaper. |
